Royal Holloway is closed over the Easter period.

This Tuesday at 7pm we will be having a members choice night! Due to the administration problems we have been having, this will be a bit different than normal, please bring along a movie you wish to watch, we will then vote on which one we shall screen. We will still be having our weekly social in medicine afterwards

Serenity is a Joss Whedon film based on his much loved TV show Firefly. It's about the crew of the spaceship Serenity, a bunch of renegades and outlaws, who are just trying to earn a living and stay one step ahead of the law. But they find themselves being relentlessly pursued by the authorities when they take on board a young girl and her brother as passengers, as they will do anything to get her, and the secrets she contains, back.

So this tuesday we are going to be watching the Disney fantasy movie 'Frozen'. We'll be meeting once again in the Arts building foyer at 7pm.

This is the culmination of the first phase of Marvel's comic book movie franchise where the heroes Iron Man, Thor, Captain America and The Hulk team up to prevent Loki from taking over the world.

We will be hosting our first social of the year. After meeting in the Arts building foyer we will travel to Crosslands (the bar inside Founders) for drinks and Science Fiction/Fantasy themed discussion.

The 22nd of September is said to be the birth date of Bilbo and Frodo Baggins, but obviously separated by many years.

The academic year might be over but there are still a few people left lurking about the place who want to socialise. No idea where this one will happen as the usual venue - the Almamata - is closed for refurbishment.

The dwarves, along with Bilbo Baggins and Gandalf the Grey, continue their quest to reclaim Erebor, their homeland, from Smaug. Bilbo Baggins is in possession of a mysterious and magical ring.

Every week, come rain or shine, we meet for a purely social gathering in The Beehive (which is the pub on middle hill, just round the corner from either The monkey's forehead or The Happy Man)
