An event hosted by IFIS, RHUL Science Fiction and Fantasy society.
A long standing tradition of the society holds that on the social that happens to fall on the event of Ladies day at Ascot, that members should arm themselves with peanuts and prepare for coming of the Hat.
Otherwise it is a purely normal social where we shall meet for a social gathering in The Al Ma Ma Ta (which is the pub near the railway station just off the center of Egham)
There is no compulsion to discuss Science Fiction or Fantasy - it's very relaxed and a chance to chill-out, unwind and socialise with other like-minded individuals. Everyone is welcome even if you're not a member of the society.
