The world of Earthsea is made up of archipelagos scattered throughout a great ocean. The peoples of the planet are as diverse as our own, but they are all connected by the magical nature of their world. This novel tells the story of the young wizard Ged, and his various adventures across the world, from his homeland of Gont, to the Wizard's Isle of Roke, to the farthest reaches of the sea.
