A long standing tradition of the society holds that on the social that happens to fall on the event of Ladies day at Ascot, that members should arm themselves with peanuts and prepare for coming of the Hat.

The last film of the year is here! And we shall be ending the year with the film that put MIB back into it's place as THE fantastic alien present-day comedy. And after the semi-disaster that was MIB2 (sans the ball-chinian, obviously), we can hardly contain ourselves for one last film this academic year.

We shall be cataloguing some more books, to continue with the cataloguing we have done thus far! We shall start at 11am (or thereabouts) in the queens annexe. So come along, (with a laptop!), for most exciting stocktaking you will be at this year.

This is set a number of years after the last Terminator movie - enough time for Sarah's son, John, to turn into a mouthy wisecracking pain in the ass teenager. Skynet sends back another Terminator, this time to kill John and the resistance send back someone to intercept it and protect him. So a similar premise to the first film, but this one is a lot more action-y and Arnie also gets a lot more lines. There's also a lot more timey-wimey temporal paradox stuff and backstory to how Skynet came in to being.

We're planning on assembling our new cupboards, and sorting out the library, this Sunday. Meet outside the Queen's building at 12:30, we'll finally have the long-running cupboard saga sorted!
