"Welcome Back!
Shortly your membership to IFIS will expire and we would just like to
invite you back for another year of Film fun!
We shall be at Freshers' Fayre on Thursday.
Our first film event will be Shaun of The Dead showing in MLT on Tuesday
4th October at 19:30! Only 1 to members!
We have also affiliated ourselves with The Anim and Manga society. This
means greater advantage to members. They will be adding a Manga subsection
to our library and we shall sharing a few film events.
First affiliated event is this Tuesday (the 28th) at 8pm in Arts Lecture
Theatre 1, we will be showing Daft Punk and Leiji Matsumoto's "Interstella
5555" - the full length animated music video/film to Daft Punk's
"Discovery". Unfortunately we are charging 2 entry due to licensing fees
but the film is well worth it!
Come along and rejoin! If you miss us at Freshers' Fayre come along to
either event and sign up!
best regards,
Emily
Chairperson of IFIS"
