Flight of Dragons was based on a book, was it? Not a particularly
"adult" book, thank goodness. Well, it could be "adult" in the quality
of the writing and the characterisation, rather than in the supposed
requirement of continual sex scenes and disembowellments, which most
"adult" books and films have by the bucketload these days (this film
would at most be a PG). Also, some people seem to think that anything
without at least one swearword in it must obviously be for kids!
(Excepting Interview with the Vampire, of course, but then that has a
guy getting sliced in half!) So, if people really are interested in
Flight of Dragons (and they can stand yet another villain who stands
around cackling and screaming all the time), then bring it on! (It
hasn't been on BBC lately, to my knowledge).
By the way, did the dragons in these books also hoard vast quantities of
gold artefacts purely because it's soft enough for them to sleep on, and
anything else soft would get ignited by their breath?
