OT question

I was watching the "Top 50 British Sitcoms" thing tonight. When they got to
Keeping Up Appearances, which was stupidly high up the list - ie above
number 39876548790 - they again trotted out the old chestnut of "Everyone
knows someone like Hyacinth Bucket."
I know that I for one do not know anyone even vaguely similar. You can tell
this because I am not currently either in prison for murder or hiding bodies
under the patio.
Anyway, do any of you lot know anyone who reminds you of that hideous
atrocity?

Not off the top of my head...
On a different note, I wonder what got into Simon earlier. I think he
took what you said in a very wrong way... :-(

Poo, sorry guys didn't mean to hit reply to all. :-( It's far too late
to be writing email...

The backstory here is that Chris wrote something in a private E-mail that
I took to be an unpleasant but commonly held stereotype about Rachael. I
got that wrong, but, as sometimes happens when husbands think their wives
are being mistreated, loyalty hit the red button and off I went. I think
my apology has been accepted.
But "These are not the droids you're looking for. You can go about your
business. Move along!" If you really, *really* want to talk about this
more, send me private E-mail. It certainly doesn't belong here.
And on the original - who Hyacinth Bucket? And what is "Keeping up
Appearances?"

Hmmm, is that a service you offer for free, or do you charge? :-)

It's not a service I offer in a public forum. ;-)
Besides, It might hurt Estelle's feelings...--
