Unwanted videos

Tidying my shelves the other day, I accumulated a small number of video
tapes which are duplicates of DVDs I own.
So if anyone wants the following videos (free), or if
IFIS has a video
library these days, just drop me an email.
Akira
The Crow
Hellraiser
This is Spinal Tap
Dominic
Hmm... I think an
IFIS video
library is a fantastic idea, if there isn't one
already. :-)

Why do I get the feeling that Urotsukidji will be "out" most of the time...

I have my own copy, thankyouverymuch. :-p
Let me know if a web-based index (similar to the
library) is required.

Of course, the legal complications will probably mean it's a stupid idea.
(Unless it's already covered by whatever license agreement you've got for
your film evenings - seems silly to be licensed for public viewing and not
lending.)
It's probably better if I just *give* the titles to someone.
If they then want to *give* them to someone else, that's none of my affair.
It's scary to think that "The Crow", "Akira", and more importantly
"Hellraiser" are now quite old titles, and there are probably many
IFIS
members who've not seen them.
"Akira" and "Hellraiser" are classic examples of their genre. Hellraiser is
still my favourite horror film ever.

If nobody wants Hellraiser, I would *love* it as I have Hellraiser 2 and 3
on video but not the first one, and it is sooo good! :D
An
IFIS video
library would be cool though, I suppose it would have to be
kept where the books are to allow access to it? Where are the books these
days, are they still in Times square?

Yup Times square still.
Not sure what the Union would make of a video
library I would think it might
be alright -certianly a popular idea but what doesn't know can't hurt them!
