"Mr Cook and composer Hugh Davies believe they have most
of her work safely stored on 5=BC-inch and 3=BD-inch discs. "
That doesn't bode well. I don't think the word "safely" can be used in th=
at
context.
Now - anyone got a piano and a set of keys handy....?

Indeed not. However there's a guy called Mark Ayres (no relation) who works with the Radiophonic Workshop who has a load of their stuff on significantly safer media !

Ha, you saw that Blue Peter too ?
Incidentally that article may well be on the forthcoming Talons of Weng Chiang DVD (Simon sits up and takes note) which is allegedly due Aprilish. BBC haven't confirmed it but the bonus footage inc some BP stuff has been cleared by the BBFC.

Grr. That should of course read:
"Mr Cook and composer Hugh Davies believe they have most of her work safely
stored on 5 1/4-inch and 3 1/2-inch discs."
Hmm. Wonder if all my old 5.25" floppies for my ZX Spectrum still work....
