One comment about another famous anime. "Akira" was always available
in two formats: a dire incomprehensible dubbed version; and a subtitled
version with slightly strange English. However Adrian got the DVD a few
months ago, and it has a new dub.
Suddenly, the film makes sense! It has a plot!
And given how gorgeous the animation in "Akira" is, that's a major plus.
(Of course, "Akira" is one of the worst for the "inflammable city"
problem... :-) )

(don't know if this is for the dubbed or subtitled or both) was done by t=

Actually, I'd say it's worse for the well known "giant inflatable baby" a=

"tentacles" clich=E9s... and for the most part the city doesn't *burn* a=

I've never seen Akira - but I've just picked a copy up on DVD - Tesco's had the
collectors edition for 17 quid. Just picked up the UFO box set too....
