"Cow Trek". Those of you who have seen it at various screenings at
Number 4 will realise it is a no-budget spoof on "Star Trek", about
the captain and crew of a Worcestershire cow. It's interesting not
just because it's funny, but also because it is the sort of thing
that IFIS could make if they set their minds to it.
And, on similar lines, there is "Troops", which is a spoof documentary
following the lives of some imperial stormtroopers in an isolated town
on a place called Tattooine. It's all mundane stuff, really: a couple
of stolen 'droids; a missing nephew; that sort of thing. And once again
it was made on a tiny budget, although probably a little higher than
that of "The Punk Kings of Worcestershire."
I can source both on video. :-)
