Yes, currently seeing if I can convert the Quicktime into something a bit
more palatable. There's an mpeg 1 floating around but I'll see if I can do a
better conversion. I can hand it to nick to host if he's still around,
although has he gone on his hols again?

He might be gone, but he'll be back soon. I'm expecting to have dinner
with him Saturday so....
A quick plug for ADSL - it downloaded the 2 smaller trailers faster than
I could play them !

Nope. I was in Canada on business, but I'm back.
Ready when you are, and mpeg is fine as it's a nice portable open standard
that'll run on anything, whereas quicktime only runs where apple wants it
to, and wmv only runs where microsoft want it to.
Divx is another open standard if you want something smaller than mpeg.

Nope. I was in Canada on business, but I'm back.
Ready when you are, and mpeg is fine as it's a nice portable open standard
that'll run on anything, whereas quicktime only runs where apple wants it
to, and wmv only runs where microsoft want it to.
Divx is another open standard if you want something smaller than mpeg.
I have to say DivX is not a great choice. It does do impressive quality in a
very small filesize, but in my experience the players are a royal pain to
set up. Took me four attempts before it installed properly on my machine.
I'd say go with Mpeg. Its supported by pretty much every player out there.

Now I'm out of yet another war council I finally got a chance to see it.
Not bad. Looks great, but then so did the E1 trailer. Unfortunately I only
got to see it in the medium resolution version but hopefully I'll get to see
the proper version tonight. It seems to have the major parts of the story I
was hoping it would cover. And some rather poor dialogue. But lets face it,
no-one watches star wars films for the dialogue...
