Jeremiah
Well, I've just finished watching the first episode and I have to say this
looks like a pretty cool series. It's well-written and the leading actors
are really good (it's been long enough since we've seen them in anything!).
The only gripe I do have about it is that it's yet another tv series that
has Cheyenne Mountain (NORAD) in it - except it looks nothing like the real
one and the mountains around it aren't high enough (hey, it's hard to
suspend reality when the balcony on your apartment looks directly at
Cheyenne Mountain!) but that's not something that's likely to bug anyone who
doesn't live in Colorado Springs.
Anyway, Luke Perry makes a really good lead and is totally believable as
Jeremiah and Michael Jamal-Warner makes a really good second - boy has he
changed since the Crosby days. The other characters are really good as well
- it throws up some interesting ideas about what would happen if all the
adults did die.
I really like this series and encourage you all to watch when (and if) it
eventually makes it to the UK.
And on a different topic (but kind of related - they're both shows on the
same cable channel over here - the final episodes of the current
Stargate-SG1 season starts next week. And this is the last season before
SG1 moves to the Sci-Fi channel
