What James says is true - but if you say that it's not worth dissecting
sci-fi for its scientific aspect, you might as well say that it's not
worth examining the plot, acting and so forth! And then where would our
dear mailing list be? However, it is true that we've been going on
rather a lot about scientific theory lately (entirely my fault, of
course). But the alternative is discussing at length some big laser gun
in Babylon 5 and why the Prez put it there, so quite frankly I'd like to
continue the scientific discussion a little further... so anyway, why do
planets exploding create these big ring things? ;->
