My line manager went on a weeks holiday, starting last Friday around 5pm.
Before he left, he set his 'out of office assistant' in Outlook to forward
any
emails he received to his line manager.
He is in the habit normally of having his email set up so that when an email
he
sends is delivered, he gets notification of this. The notification is in the
form of
an automated email.
At 7.30pm on Friday, someone sent him an email.
It got forwarded to his line manager, another mail was sent to the original
sender
to say that my line manager was on holiday and the email had been forwarded.
As each of these emails arrived, they triggered the delivery notification
emails
which in turn...
He has been receiving one email every seven seconds since 7.30 on Friday.
Each
of these has been forwarded to his line manager.
The main email server in Guildford has been having severe difficulty with a
major
logjam this week for some strange reason.
I am so looking forwards to his return...
