Cats don't always land on their feet. sorry.
Try the following experiment.
*Take 1 cat
*take 1 rope/piece of string
*Tie cat's legs together
*drop cat.

so as you can see, to sabotage this cat powered spaceship, you would need nothing more than a piece of string.
