Ooh Look! It's Michael Sheard again...

Whilst sitting in the computer Centre looking at a bunch of Doctor Who
Screen captures a thought struck me. What are the most unbelievably AWFUL
lines in Science Fiction which people can remember?

Here are a few random Doctor Who ones I can remember...

"Killer insects! Watch out! They Kill!!" - Time and the Rani 1987

"Pickled in time like gherkins in a jar" - Dimensions In Time 1993

"THE TREE WON'T HURT YOU PERI!!" - Mark of the Rani 1985

(in heavy green and silver make up) "I shall release more of our brothers
from bondage! We will be irresistable!" - Robots of Death 1976

What else can anyone else remember?

ooh, and anyone's ideas for (absurd) Sci Fi crossover series. Mine is what
they, nearly, did in Remembrance of the Daleks, but didn't dare own up to
it...

The people in my year would not forgive me if I failed to nominate "Activate the dafodils
!" from Terror of the Autons.

Is this open to just Dr Who? or can any series join in?

If so I nominate "Get the hell out of our galaxy!" (Babylon 5) as the worst
line of dialogue I have ever heard.

... on the other hand, they're DELIBERATELY corny. For some far more
dreadful accidental corn, I'd reccommend almost anything by C3P0 or
JarJar Binks.

One word of advise if you are ever running a convention. Don't give Michael
Sheard a bar tab. It gets very high on malt whisky (in the hundreds).
He has been doing too many conventions that two convention organisers so far
that he asked to come along as a guest have told him that he can only come
if he registers as a normal paying attendee
