Don't worry. Mailing-list maintainers tend to get on fairly well with
mailing-list maintainers, so if I find the silly $#!+ has actually
MANAGED to do what they were intending, I'll get hold of the UofW
mailing list admin and ask them for detailed logs, then see who deserves
to lose their internet access.
Never mind "lose their internet access". You didn't authorise "chat" for
this kind of thing, did you? So that'll be unauthorised access, which is
Misuse of Computers Act 1991, and someone can go to prison. For up to two
years, if I remember right.
