Prisoner DVD Problem

My Prisoner DVD set arrived in the mail today. Volume 1 just won't play on
my machine. Has anyone else got it and had problems ?

(all the other 4 volumes play, there are similar menus on each disc so I'm
suspecting a faulty disc/transfer rather than a problem my machine vs the
disc)

Mine plays okay - I've only watched "arrival" from it so far, so glitches
are still possible, but it generally plays.

Can you check if the menu system is the same as any of the other discs ? Discs
2 and 4 are accompanied by the "I will not be stamped, filed, numbered" speech,
3 and 5 are the "Where am I" "In the village" exchange between #6 and Leo
McKern's #2 with some rather nice echo on it. The menus are rather nice - v
well done.

I'm getting some minor pixelation effects on the discs that will play - the
black screen imeadiately prior to the Carlton logo and again on the tarmac in
the title sequence.

Exchanged the discs - the new one works fine :-)
