At long last, we've started recieving the "Murder One" newsletters.
Considering it's MOSTLY a crime bookshop, there's a lot of stuff that's
not very IFISish... in fact last week's newsletter had nothing of
IFIS
interest at all, but here's a few snippets from this weeks:
James Sallis has a complete collection of his short stories out this
week. Entitled 'Time's Hammers', it's got plenty of SF stories as well
as the crime you'd expect from the creator of Lew Griffin. Sallis has
recently completed a biography of fifties crimewriter Chester Himes,
and will be coming to Murder One to sign copies on Thursday 24th of
August. Please come along and make him feel welcome. The man is a god.

The [murder one] autumn crime and SF catalogue should be ready in
about three weeks.

The new Iain M Banks Culture novel, 'Look to Windward' is in at last.
It is one of the best things he's written yet, according to Paul.
