Supersonic torpedos. Looks like the plasma stuff might have been a bit of an
exaggeration, but they're still supersonic torpedos travelling in,
moreorless, a vacuum:

And secondly, the grotesque "real life cthulu-man" - a nasty motorcycle
accident which has made the lower half of this guy's face look like a mass
of tentacles. DEFINITELY NOT to be viewed too near to mealtimes!

Funny you should mention that. I am reading the "tree-ware" version of the
same article at the moment. Definitely not the same thing I was talking
about at the party.
