Video evenings in general.

I have a few ideas about video evenings for the future, but I'd like the
ideas and opinions of the other members. This is your society, after all.

So, if there are any science fiction films, fantasy films, Manga Anime,
TV series episodes, or just plain cool films you want me to show, let me
know.

Some of you should know that a 'sickathon' is being planned, where in one
day films like 'bad taste,' 'a clockwork orange' and many others in the same
vein will be shown. Come to the pub for details of that, as I don't know
much about it.

Some ideas I have for the future include Strange Days, perhaps
Trainspotting if people don't mind the lack of Sci Fi content,
Metropolis and Brazil.

If enough interest is shown, I'll try to organise a 'bad B-movie' night,
with films such as 'Killer clowns from outer space' 'It came from outer space'
'The blob' (original version) and any other complete trash I can dredge up.
Let me know your views and opinions by personal mail, and I'll post the
results later.

Metropolis is class, Brazil is a fine film in the sense that Dickens
wrote fine fiction. Trainspotting is crap IMOSHO and is not Sci-fi to
boot.

who considered Trainspotting to be a classic film.

I'm reliably informed (though I have yet to confirm it) that The Lepricaun
is the worst B movie ever.

Hey! Everyone knows that 'Plan 9 from outer space' is absolutely the
worst B movie ever. Anyway, I told you lot to post direct to me. We don't

In some previous years (I don't know what was shown last year!), there has
been a high science fiction/ fantasy element. It seems important to at least
_try_ and find relevant films first :-)
