Currently on BBC1, and has used a number of easily identified landmarks.
Including a Balkan Military Base (conveniently situated inside Battersea
Power Station) and "London University" (which looked suspiciously like
Founders).

Oh yes, and Brian "Onward my Hawkmen!" Blessed is in it too...

Yup - it is Founders. Didn't see it this time around, but when they last
showed it I remember having this convo and everyone concerned agreed it
was. I don't think we decided which quad they were walking through
though.

It's a TV movie, filmed April/May 1993 (probably whilst all the students
were away for easter) for that opening scene.

As to the old firm, well, erm, I'll leave that for more seasoned members
to rummage around the old contacts book...

college whilst MacGuyver was being filmed there! Is that a claim to fame or
not?!

If we ever meet Patti and Selma (god forbid - and extremely unlikely being
cartoon characters) and want to impress them (also god forbid) we'd be able
to tell them that!

Easter was earyish that year - we were definitely on site again by May.
(B'Day's May 4th and I can remember that year rather well)

fire alarm with an elbow or breaking down 14's door with a shopping trolly -
maybe.
Being one of the authors of the soon to be hit playstation game Terrorcon -
probably.

definitely.

No, that's wishful thinking - according to the Watcher's Guide it was a

Looked the dead image of her with Black hair. Buffy S1 would have been about
the time of her Dark Skies appearances I think.....

Estelle and I went back to campus out of term-time for some reason, I can't
remember what, and we saw a load of big vans and masses of tangled cables
and things around, and when we asked someone what was going on, they told us
"apparently they're filming an episode of MacGuyver". I didn't realise that
was the one they showed this weekend, otherwise I'd hve made more of an
effort to watch/record it.

Anyway, I think that makes Me+E the "closest to the action" so far. We
didn't actually see, y'know, MacGuyver himself, but we were there on the day
and saw lots of evidence of film crews and stuff.

Apparently founders is used as a film set quite often, although not always
the identifiable bits - EG if someone was running around in the little-known
underground tunnels, we'd not recognise them, would we? Presumably it's
fairly cheap for the film companies to hire bits of it out of term-time, and
brings in a bit of extra cash for the college.
