Star Trek: Enterprise

Sky Text (and C5 Text) p192 (they're one and the same) are reporting that
the new Trek Series is going to be called Star Trek: Enterprise - a
perfectly logical title that makes you a little surprised that they haven't
used it before. (It also abbreviates to ST:E and since the new series will
be the 5th....)

Now personally I was rather hoping that they'd leave ST be for a few years
but no the franchise must continue. Do we like what they've come up with
and how - similar to the Who question - would we do it ?

Personally I'd have gone for a series set maybe 100 years after Next Gen on
a Starship.

By the sounds of the title this is maybe what's going to happen ....

Rick Berman, Executive Producer of Star Trek: Voyager, confirmed
that a new Star Trek series is in the works, and will premiere after Voyager
concludes its seven-year run, as reported last night on UPN affiliate KCOP
in Los Angeles.
"I think we've come up with a concept that's dramatically different
from Voyager or Deep Space Nine, but at the same time it's going to
definitely be Star Trek at its core," Berman said. The new series will
likely debut in September 2001, according to the news segment.

This sounds quite exciting, do you think that they will make the
Klingons look different again, if the series is set long afterwards?!?!?!?!?
