E1 DVD
This got mentioned at Richard's stag do last night so .....

Episode One on DVD!
Chris: The Digital Bits.com, a very reliable source of quality DVD news and
information, has posted some interesting info on the upcoming E1 DVD. That's
right, Lucas has publically stated that his team is working away on an E1
DVD! The Digital Bits adds to that story with some info on possible extra
footage not seen in the theaters.
http://www.thedigitalbits.com/rumormill.html . Not an article you DVD fans
will want to miss. Exerpt: "there are still several unfinished scenes and
sequences from Episode I, the original Star Wars and the other films. Lucas
plans to finish them and include them on the DVDs."
Amazing news. I wonder how such information would have affected VHS sales
had it been released a couple weeks ago... LucasFilm seemed pretty adamant
about not unleashing any DVDs until after Episode 1, 2, and 3 were in the
can. Sounds as though they've caved into the demands of the fans.
The Digital Bits.com has also posted a nice review of the E1 laserdisc. Well
worth reading.
Philip - who's had a mail from Amazon to say his Monkey videos are on the
way....
