Tal just said star Trek.

Actually, should I really be proud of that?

Things You Learn From the Movies: 9. Rather than wasting bullets,
megalomaniacs prefer to kill their arch enemies using complicated
machinery involving fuses, pulley systems, deadly gasses, lasers, and
man-eating sharks, which will allow their captives at least 20
minutes to escape.

I'd like to point out that all BAR ONE of my 180 ST videos live in Chris's

Some rather sad news yesterday - apparently Peter Jones, the voice of The
Book in both the Radio and TV versions of The Hitch-Hiker's Guide to the
Galaxy died on Monday.

Congratulations! Now get him to say "Star Wars" and "Versus", and he'll
pretty much be ready for
IFIS chat ;o)
There is no shame in having a kid which can say Star Trek. However, it'd
probably be a completely different matter if he had said "Janeway" ;o)

That is without following up with "must die"
Did anyone else see Equinox pt2 on Monday ?

Did anyone else see Equinox pt2 on Monday ?
I saw it a while back - was that a cliffhanger cop-out or what? Although
[expletive deleted]'s hair was somewhat ruffled for a large part of the
episode, which has to be a first...

I think Janeway is lovely and you're all being really mean to her. There
are plenty of times that she's come out looking like she's been dragged
thru a hedge backwards - that two-parter with the time ship is a good
example.

Sorry - I've repeatedly failed to do a Futurama gag with the title of this

Worst cliffhanger resoloution EVER !
</Comic shop guy>
So if you recall the Voyager bridge is being overrun by the aliens the equinox
has been killing and using as fuel for their new drive system while Voyager is
being attacked by the Equinox. All looks grim for Kathy and Co. Resoloution ?
Stick the shields up, take evasive manouvers and shoot the aliens. COP OUT !
Pathetically simple, and makes the danger of the situation shown in Pt1 a lot
less convincing....
And as for Captain Kathy's obsession to the point of madness throughout the
episode. I'm with Chakotay on that.
I didn't see some of pt 1 - how long had the Equinox been in the Delta Quadrant
? The uniforms were the older style - which were phased out 2 1/2 -3 years
ago (Mid DS9 S5) and yet the ship looked to be a newer design - reminiscent of
the Sovreign class Enterprise E.
