Was it my imagination, or is First Wave starting to collapse into
technobollocks?
Would any (other) of our plethora of computer scientists like to tell me if
it's possible to protect a floppy disc so that the data on it CANNOT be
copied?
We'll ignore all the cobblers with time travel, as I'm sure we've had that
conversation before.
And we'll also momentarily ignore the small woman who can beat up a posse of
armed superhuman bad guys.
(sigh) It's still well made, but I'm beginning to worry about the plots.

Isn't this the plot of pretty much every Buffy ep?

Except that Buffy's also "superhuman". She's "The Slayer". She's faster than
human, stronger than human, and heals quicker than humans.
It's all perfectly logical.

Yes, there was an Implementation based on Tape about 15-20 years ago. The guy
who designed it was
about to make a mint from all the game companies when one of the IS (MI5/MI6)
took it of him, claiming national
security. It was meant to be the same method that they used to protect .
In principal if you have the same equipment that was used to original write the
data, then you could copy it, otherwise no.

First Wave is crap. Was that the last episode? Alos, why is he
called 'the twice blessed man'? He lost his wife, is a hunted murderer etc.
Doesn't seem very blessed to me.
