PT: TP's Interesting Times
The Purple Theatre Company's next show will be an adaptation of
Interesting Times by Terry Pratchett. The show will be performed from
Wednesday 30th April to Saturday 3rd May 2003 at the Compass Theatre in
Ickenham.
I've been to every one of Purple Theatre's Terry Pratchett productions
since their first - back when they used to be Brunel Alumni Drama. Many
of the faces have changed, but every single one of these plays has been
well worth going to. They are often given the honour of being the first
people to perform the stage adaptations, and though they can't afford
expensive special effects and fantastic scenery, the ACTING has actually
been better than a couple of "professional" West End Terry Pratchett
plays I've been to, where I remember a Puppet acting better than the
b-list celebs stage/screen "stars" ;-)
Honestly, I'd reccommend Purple Theatre to anyone who enjoys Pratchett.
... and it seems to have become traditional for me to organise a little
mini IFIS trip to each one. Stick it in your diary, tell your friends,
and I'll let you know once I know ticket prices. See if we can get a
group discount this time :-)

Ever wonder what the speed of lightning would be if it didn't zigzag?
