fifis dinner
Hello all.
Right... I don't want to be treading on peoples toes here. So apologies if
anyone feels offended. As I haven't heard anything about the ifis Christma=
s
dinner, I'm thinking of organising a FIFIS (friend's o' ifis) Dinner. This
isn't meant as competition or anything like that.. more of a backup plan..
As the end of term is on the 14th, it would be cool if we could do somethin=
g
before then, but I appreciate this is short notice.
Charcoals was suggested, which is down by the river (which also means the
people walking back to campus and engie green can take over America
briefly).
Unfortunately they couldn't do next Thursday (which seemed like a good time=
,
as we can mostly make it to ifis), but they could do next Monday or Tuesday=
.
How do people feel about this? The price of a rather swish 3 course (4
choice each course) meal would be 19.95. Is this too much? ( I may be abl=
e
to haggle a discount). I've included the menu at the end of the mail...
(If we were uber quick we could do something *this* Thursday, but not their
standard Christmas menu.)
What do people think? I'm sure you can appreciate I need answers *ASAP*,
cos they have to know if they have to get in turkey for 30. If no-one is
interested, fair enough, but I thought it would be nice for us all to get
together before Christmas.
Let me know either way,
Linette (ifis conspirator)
