Good morning/afternoon/evening to you...
This Thursday, as part of our Neverending Quest for a New Pub,
IFIS are
holding an extended social at The Beehive, which is somewhere in the
Egham-Englefield Green area. It starts at 7:00pm.
For those who don't know where The Beehive is, Adam the Chairbeing will be
at Founders North Tower at 7:00pm to lead people there. Wearing a long coat.
If you've forgotten what he looks like or have no idea who he is, this may
help (he's the one on the left):

So, er, that's The Beehive (or Founders North Tower), Thursday 25th October,
7:00pm. Yes.

... and for those who are late, start heading down Egham Hill. Half way
down on the left is a road called Middle Hill, and the pub is a short
walk along it.

The historically minded amongst us will recall that it was at that junction I wrote my car
off. Wreckage from said incident was viewed by big Nigel on his way down the hill who
laughed and walked off.
Ta for that, I had not the faintest idea of where the pub was :)

Do you know in ten years I don't think I've ever set foot in the Beehive ?
Philip - oh and the HHGttG DVD has apparently been delayed till 28/01/2002. Whether this
impacts on Tomb of the Cybermen which was also due out the same day.....
