Rock soc for being so understanding and not causing a huge fuss or walk
out had been put on the top of a waiting list and so now have a place
tomorrow at the fair (so they got two days), but doesn't seem like they'll
need it as they had 70+ members when I last checked today.
They will need it - usually membership is around 120. Last year's
membership was about 140, with membership being roughly even on both days
of Fresher's Fayre. The lowest I ever saw it was in my second year, when
we had about 90. This was due to the committee in my first year being
mostly absent and therefore crap. I don't think it has dropped below 100
since then, although that's partly due to a rise in popularity of this
Nu-metal stuff, and frankly their three pounds are worth as much to us if
they like limp bizkit as if they like megadeth ;o)
