Visit to the Wallace Collection

If people are interested, Jim & I are planning to go up to the Wallace
Collection this Saturday. For those who don't know this is a free museum in
Manchester Square (behind Selfridges) and it has the second largest
collection of Arms and Armour is this country after the Royal armouries. It
also has lots of other things like lots of paintings and sculptors as well,
but we're interested in researching the weapons.
We are trying to contact the curator to see if we can get a guided tour, but
we will probably try and do this later on in the year depending upon when he
is available and we will let people know if we succeed.

Please let me know by Thursday if you are interested in coming up to this,
we are aiming to catch a train at about 10am up to London. I will bring the
information up to the pub or else you can look at their website :
