IFIS lists and website back up

The IFIS website and mailing-lists have been down for nearly 48h, due to
various problems at the ISP that's hosting the box that they run on (the one
I used to work for, in fact).

THEY ARE ALL NOW BACK UP!!! :-)

Please accept my apologies on their behalf.

In the meantime, I *AM* looking for a more reliable place to stick the IFIS
server and various other bits of my own internetty stuff. There is a plan
for a small consortium of us to buy our own rack in telehouse (pretty much
the centre of the UK internet) and moreorless run our own private internet
hosting service for our own private stuff.

In fact... if any sysadmin-types on this list are interested in having their
own machine online 24/365, with great bandwidth and low cost, at a hosting
service run entirely by like-minded clueful sysadmins, email me privately
and I'll see if we have any more space in our rack, and put you in touch
with the rest of the consortium. We MAY already be oversubscribed though, so
don't get your hopes up.
