If anyone's around Tuesday 4th January the NFT are showing 3 of the odd
Patrick Troughton Dr Who episodes. I'm game - anyone else interested ?

Starting tomorrow on BBC2 6pm Doctor Who and the Silurians. If you thought
their rubber octopus was bad wait for the rubber T-Rex !

See I told you it was bad !

Points will be awarded for identifying "the Liberator" and "the Screw"
taking part in an acting capacity ....
it's colour restored.

I noticed that the colour looked a bit similar to that in "The Daemons" and
thought it was probably recolourised.

Has anyone seen that recolourised footage on the end of "The Mind of Evil".
I'm really boring aren't I!!!???

Not a bad job. For my money Terror of the Autons is the best
recolourisation.
Apparently the 2 eps of Ambasadors of Death they did were cracking. And
then the colour print for one ep developed a fault...
Evil".

That's original stuff that is ! Yes I have - it's on my mind of evil
video - amongst other places.....

I wasn't sure when I saw it on the end of my copy whether they were
originals from the American betamax recording or recolourised USING said
recordings, thank you for setting the record straight.
Well, It beats doing the Archaeology essay I'm supposed to be finishing now
for tomorrow!!

Have it wandering around a scaled-down city and you could have called it
Godzilla. Whatever it was, thank god it was only on screen for about half a
second.

4 years later the BBC Special FX team assured DW's producer they could do
dinosaurs better. He believed them, made Invasion of the Dinosaurs and it
proved that they hadn't got any better in the intervening time !

Some years after that when the Silurians return in Warriors of the Deep they
constructed the Myrka. Your enthusiasm for the creature is not helped by
the knowledge that inside it are the 2 people who play Dobbin the Pantomime
Donkey in Rentaghost.

If you look closely at the Myrka in Warriors of the Deep, you can see
that the paint was not dry when they filmed
it.

The glove puppets monsters in the "something (can't remeber what it was)
of Monsters", are where much better.
