A few things.....

A little bit of general admin at house of Phil.....

1) On the assumption that I'm acting as guide for the shopping trip (again
:-) ) Is there anywhere that we'd like to go besides the usual circuit of
They Walk Among Us (Richmond) Forbidden Planet, Gosh, The one who's name I
can't remember, Comics Showcase, Orc's Nest and Murder one ?

2) I'm having another clearout ! I've found some books which I thought the
library might like but on 2nd glance they already have most of them. So
barring Alex not taking me up on some doubles I have the last 5 Dune Books,
Stainless Steel Rat for President, gets Drafted and Wants you, + several
Dredd compilation volumes. The library gets my copy of The Apprentice as
this should definitely be read by a larger audience - support me here Chris.

3) I'm _still_ trying to shift my comic collection. If anyone wants to
relieve me of some of it (mainly 80s and 90s marvel comics) get in touch and
I can look some stuff out for you at a bargain price or you can come and
rifle through the loft - Charlotte's seen it and knows how much **** there
is up there !

4) Any news on the Ascot reopening ? I thought it was this week coming but
I'm told the car park is still a building site !

5) Don't forget the Doctor Who tonight at 9 and Tuesday at 6 on BBC2.

"An extensive repeat run" We wait and see - but BBC2 have had great
success with sci fi shows and reruns in that slot in recent years .....

BTW - I didn't bother ordering Go Simpsonic in the end, I'm sure it'll be
over here before too long. I remember getting Songs in the key... in
Falmouth when we were in Cornwall one year, where it came as a bit of a
surprise. It was in a tiny little Smiths!
