Americans oppress Goths

Just been reading an interesting article on the Web about the backlash in
the US after the kids who went on a mad murder spree a little while back. It
seems like it's now getting rather dangerous to show any signs of
eccentricity. Kids are getting counselling for playing AD&D, Quake, and
wearing trenchcoats.

(Yes, I know this isn't an SF post, but I'd be willing to bet the
overwhelming majority of IFIS members would have qualified for special
observation in the High Schools of the US today.)

I bet membership to IFIS alone would imply some form of mental
counselling ...
I mean no normal person would join a society which aims
to take over world, I mean... taking over the world is natural, we are
all sheep... I am perfectly normal.

There was a security bloke in Cameron the other week who seemed
convinced that IFIS was actually a weird religious cult from Oxford!! I
don't know where he escaped from, but he actually said he wouldn't mind
snogging the Medusa on the poster. Now there's someone who needs
counselling...
