Star Wars Books

2 new Star Wars novels were out today - normally I wouldn't point this out
but these are a little special:

Hand of Thrawn 2 - Vision of the Future by Timothy Zahn (5.99) is the last
of the Bantam Star Wars novels. Been out in hardback for a while, and it
hints at what is to come - as well as explaining the fate of several popular
characters.... (Charlotte - you need to read this book NOW !) Zahn was the
Author that started off the Star Wars books with Heir to the Empire and it's
themes there which appear again here. Probably best to have read Spectre of
the Past (same author) first. Unlike a certain IFIS member (not me) who
didn't....

The New Jedi Order: Vector Prime by R. A. Salvatore (15.99) is the first of
the books from Del Rey. Interesting to see what a new publisher does with
the franchise which has been a little variable in the past...
