RWAV time limit approaching

There is now a little under a month left before we need a
magazine to give to freshers.

From IFIS I would like short stories or reviews of things

seen or read during summer. Or a review of the new theme
pub would be nice.

From Gamesoc I currently only have an intro to the committee.

I need an intro to what the soc does/is etc. and plugs from
any GM who wants to get advertised.

The Rocky horror rewrites are sitting in a disc next to me.
If I haven't got anything hopeful within the week the rest
of the requests will be to the tune of Rocky Horror tunes.
You have been warned.

BTW new sig will be changed before it scares freshers away.

REVIEW OF "BRIDE OF CHUCKY"

Ok, I admit that I only went to see this film because I saw a trailer
where Chucky, the most popular psychotically possessed child's toy in
cinematic history, is getting his leg over with his girlfriend. At a
crucial moment, she stops him asking if he has a rubber. He replies
"Look at me...I'm all rubber!" Does this make me a bad person? I hope
not.

The film itself is incredibly funny, mostly by having its tongue in its
cheek to such a degree that it is in fact licking its own ear. Tiffany,
Chucky's girlfriend (played by Jennifer Tilly) steals the show as the
trailer trash that is too weird to get on Jerry Springer. She
resurrects Chucky by using "Voodoo for Dummies" and cleans her nails
with murder weapons. I think she's great! Jesse, the obligatory teen,
is comfortingly dumb eye-candy and there are some reassuringly squelchy
murders.

The soundtrack is seriously hot too. Put the Blondie number on really
loud and jump around like a loon.
