Nope - there's no rental version of ACTA. The sell through was meant

to

go July 26th - it never showed up.
Both the Trailer on ACTA and the free leaflet of release dates give
the releasse as July 26th

Sounds fair - I only get a list of rental release dates, which as a

general

rule are earlier... not usually for B5 stuff though. The past couple of
weeks weren't good for rental releases, however.

There's a good list of sci fi releases in TV Zone every month, and they
give you schedules some months ahead to enable a little bit of planning
in the spending massive ammounts of cash on videos dept :-)

I tend not to spend much on videos, on the ground that I've got nowhere to
put the damned things if I did buy them. That's the main reason I keep my
very badly paid job with awkward & entirely non-fixed hours... the video
shop acts to supplement my own personal collection...

Speaking of which, I'm working on convincing the boss to bring all the
sci-fi & fantasy type ex-rentals over from the other shops to Englefield
Green... since they had at the sunningdale shop an entire seasons worth of
Highlander: The Series sitting there for about six months with only one or
two of them going - had they been at e/green I'd have mentioned it to people
and I imagine that they'd have gone rather quicker (I don't work at the
sunningdale shop, so I don't find out about these things).

As it happened, I bought the remaining eight tapes, and they are (within
reason) borrowable if people are interested...
