Yeah it's the bloke flogging the cheap lightsabres _again_

I now believe I've managed to cover all the people who have asked for
lightsabres up to this point. 2 people have theirs already, 4 are sitting
in my bedroom, one is on a plane between NY and London, 3 are on a boat and
the remaining 4 are being stalked at the moment by one of my US trade
contacts who will find them if he ever wants to see his Beast Wars
Bonecrusher.... Hopefully all the ones Students have asked for should show
by the end of term - the employed who are in the area may have to wait a
week or so longer.

In case anyone's interested I've just about when postage is taken into
consideration broken even on this enterprise. When I spoke to the manager
of Bentalls toy dept. on Thursday he confirmed that the price would be 40.00
UK compared to $30 US or the 20 UK I've been selling them for.

As part of the latest trade I've done I've got 1 Qui Gon Jinn lightsabre
coming. Anyone interested ?

If anyone else responds to the Ad's I've got on the Newsgroups and I end up
with some more - a possibility - I'll let you all know - cos I suspect there
a couple more people out there who'd like one ;-)

I know I'm late to this, and also ignorant as to which types are which, and
boring in what I want.

I would *like* to get hold of an old-fashioned traditional style lightsabre.
I really want it to be robust, rather than fancy, as I want to actually be
able to run around the car-park indulging myself with trying out my improved
levels of coordination with sword-work. Coming back from the Aikido on
Thursdays nights is probably a bad comination :-)

Its a shame that we don't seem to be getting any labying going- though of
course that is where I should be posting on *gamesoc*, or joining the
fencing club. I notice they are actually advertising to try and get people
to go and try out their light-sabre techniques- has anyone gone down and had
a go?

Of course, I don't get to talk about most of this-certainly not with Phil-
as I generally arrive too late on a Thursday to get really involved in the
conversations. I guess that we will get to look at all the different styles
of lightsabres whilst visiting London next weekend.

Um, I don't actually know what types are which. So dunno.

From memory:

Luke Skywalker's Lightsabre - green blade from ROTJ
Darth Vader's Lightsabre - red blade

both of the above should be availible for between 8 and 20 depending on
where you get them from. TRU Woking didn't have any this morning when I
passed through on my mamoth round Surrey shopping trip - Kingston (Home) ->
Woking -> RHBNC -> Tesco's Twickenham -> They Walk Amoung Us Richmond ->
Kingston (Shops) -> Home

The only place I actually saw lightsabres for sale was TWAU and they were 20
each there.

Sorry got a bit distracted....

From E1 you have

Darth Maul's Lightsabre - 2 red blades
Qui Gon Jinn's Lightsbare - green blade
Qui Gon Jinn's Lightsbare - green blade, no electronics, telescopes fully
into the hilt.

If you search the chat archives there should be a url for a piccy of these

There about 2/5 of the way down the Feb page. It takes ages to load and
you need to scroll 2/3 the way down ....

I should be there for the Richmond part of the London trip if you want to

BTW 1 I hear word of a new Comic shop on the arcade housing Murder One -
anyone have any info on this ?
BTW 2 Jon in TWAU has a HUGE pile of last years Freeze Frame SW figures if
anyone's interested in forwarding their collections....
