Nick seemed to think I was saying he was not doing a good Job (?)... I
will try again. I think Nick does a fine job, maintaining the web pages he
is provided with. I am indeed out of touch with current plans, due to
missing most of the pub meeting, being involved in killercon, and missing
Thursday night videos.

I was observing that the web pages were not particularly reflecting the new
commitee, and I was wondering if they had new plans for updating styles,
putting on mission statements or the like. Asan was damn good at publicity:
and it would be good if that impetus was followed up.

I observe that films To be announced or planned include ones which I believe
you have shown this year. It would be good (I guess) if more films were
voted for, and shown.

I wondered if you are in the usual situation where room-bookings prevent
films being shown in the summer term.

I wondered if you had any furthur plans for trips into LOndon, or interests
into going to conventions, or anything else SF based.

As for the Princess Bride: class film. Enjoy :-)

Hello,

Nick is going to update the webpages, like put on things about the
new committee members.
Next term we will discuss the webpages further, it is the end of
term and we've all been pretty busy, but we have got a few ideas...
About films, we have come up with a list of more stuff we could show
too.
I will ask about this this afternoon, but I have been told you can
only book rooms in the term you want to use them. However, if I can get the
main lecture theatre we could look into showing a couple of films next term!
Well, we did talk for a bit on this. So far plans include a union
night, a barbecue and more trips into London. These are mostly for the
autumn term but if there is enough interest I don't see why we couldn't do a
trip next term. Does anyone have information about conventions, because it
would be great to go to some!
