I am sorry you can't simply say "Its the Truman Show this thursday".
This film deserves better than that.
This is the greatest film of 98. I don't care if you have seen it already -
watch it again, I don't care if you have work to do - it can wait. Watch
this film.
It is simply a great film, one of the best.
So this thursday at 7pm there is only one place you can possibly be........
MLT for the TRUMAN SHOW.
Cheers
Chris

Are you telling me there's a film that the legendary Chris White
actually LIKES?
Oh great... I've now lost all respect for what, until then, I too
thought was a pretty damned good film. ;-)
Purely out of curiosity... Have you watched more than 5 minutes of
this one then Chris? :-)

I Have watched this film all the way through not once but twice. It is
brilliant. I give it my personal recommendation.
I can assure you, not any old film gets the legendary Chris White
recommendation. Only the very best. Its great.
How many Oscar nominations did it get? Not enough I can tell you.
Cheers

Obviously the Oscar awards committee only watched the last 5 minutes of
it. *8)

It was in the running for best film, along with Titanic, Good Will
Hunting (top film :o) And Matt Damon looked rather nice too) and Saving
Private Ryan. Titanic got the award, of course; why do the ones with the
biggest budgets always come top? Possibly a bit of bribing going on..... ?
I'm certainly not going to argue that Truman deserved the Oscar - maybe even
joint with Will Hunting. But you can't have everything.
If you've not seen Truman yet, make sure you get there on Thursday!!
It'd take an act of God to keep me away :o) - Jen
