Between the darkness and the light
Well "River of Souls" is just out on video. I wouldn't imagine that the
whole world has seen that yet so it might be a good bet for attendance even
if it's not the best ep of the series
"Severed Dreams" is always a winner, and unlike "Between the Darkness and
the Light" can be shown without the episodes surrounding it ... BtD&tL
needs "Face of the Enemy" and "Intersections in Real Time" shown before it
and "Endgame" and (probably) "Rising Star" shown after it.
If you're looking to show a sequence of eps then the 3 in the S3 Earth
Force Trilogy ("Messages from Earth", "Point of No Return" & SD), S1/2
("Crysalis", "Points of Departure" & "Revalations"), end of S3 ("And the
Rock cried out no hiding place", "Shadow Dancing" & "Z'Ha'Dum") (Z-2 days
:-) ) are all good suggestions along with the end of S4 described above
which is a bit longer ....
You can't have a B5 video night without added Zathras - and although he
gets mentioned in "Long Twilight Struggle" "Babylon Squared" or "War
Without End" are both good bets.
(You might get some people coming who've not seen the show much/at all
before - B^2 and SD are good winners most of the time if for people who've
not seen the show much - both have class moments - Zathras, the revelation
about the one, "Only one Human Captain has ever beaten the Minbari")
