Before anyone shouts these aren't spoilers. So long as you've seen the
trailer on BBC2 anyway.
Hurrah! The Dwarf returns this week, and has anybody noticed on the
trailer that there are at least two bits where Rimmer has no H? (Once
talking, the other bald and buck naked).
My guess (though I don't know for sure) is that when Krytens nanobots
rebuilt the Dwarf at the end of series 7, they rebuilt the crew as well,
since Captain McAllister is in it (on the trailer, back of his head is
seen) and I do know that Chen and Selby are in it as well (two of Listers
mates from series 1).
Looks like there may still be some model shots, not all CGI, judging by the
Starbug crashing sequence.
I look forward to Thursday, incidently only 10 years and 361 days since the
series first aired in 1988. Good timing!

Arse - what kind of idiots do they have working at the BBC these days.
Thursday is the worst day possible to show it - we're all down the pub!
Rant..rant..mumble..rant..mutter... (etc).

You might not like to know this, but the BBC are going to be showing
some Quantum Leap after TNG on Wednesdays. Sorry if that's not
something you wanted to hear.

Excellent I was wandering when they would start showing this again. Video
recorders at the ready. It is better than Sliders that is for sure.
But what do you mean by "some" episodes?.... The best of probably.

Well I don't know exactly but they're starting with the first episode
and showing as a two-parter.

Don't worry I'm recording it so anyone who misses it can watch it later. I
new that VCR I bought would come in handy.

As recommended in Phil's guide on how to be a student sci fi fan in the
Autumn Run with a View.
Best - and most expensive - thing I ever did was buying my first video.
Friends round my place every night there was .....
From the video came the 2nd video...
And then the better tv
and then the stereo video..
and the amp...
and then the rest of the separates system....
And now I'm a hi fi freak as well !

And Philip once again doth pronounce:
Or failing that a bad movie - Space Truckers or Spanking Nuns meet Thomas
the Tank Engine ! (Humour)
It's getting rid of the friends when you want to go to bed that I found to
be the problem. There's some days when sticking Tom Petty's "Don't come
around here no more didn't even do the trick !

I prefer to eat the pizza, not watch it. ;-)

This is scary I been thinking about investing in some seperates for ages. I
have the CDs just not the decent sound system.
Anyway the VCR has been mighty useful recording sc-fi and football, what
more do you want?
Cheers
