A report - if anyone can remember - or failing that an attempt to piece the

Okay. Here's my take on the evening, which I greatly enjoyed. There was ~30
of us, I guess.
We all met in the Crown pub, from around 7 onwards, and had a drink or two
each and mingled a little. Then we moved down to Jaspers. Wine and or
cocktails were started before the food turned up, just to get us in a nice
relaxed mood :-)
The food was reasonable, considering the large number. I pity poor Asan
trying to organise us all into getting what we wanted- or ordered. An
unforgettable experience for him, I'm sure !! The less said about the
details of what happened the better, except I *did* eat what we asked for by
e-mail... and mistakes *do* happen... Oh well... I hope this does not
degenerate into another
IFIS slagging match...
After we had finished our main course, the desire to get up and strut our
stuff overcame sense and decorum (whatever that may be).....
Puddings were then consumed, and the numbers leaping around gradually
overtook the remains of our group- some people leaving early in the
proceedings. There is a large supply of photos which Chris Turner took,
which he will have on-line soon. I certainly remember throwing my arms in
the air to "staying alive", and fear that may have been caught on-film!
After we left, Simon invited Steve to his awaiting chariot (a shopping
trolley), in which he did indeed travel down the high street at some speed.
This crime has definitely been successfully recorded.
So, who is organising the next party then? A whole year to wait for so much
fun, boozing and dancing? I hope not!!!
