It was done, it was good. Thanks ;-)
For those who are interested in purely books, I would highly recommend Sign
Of the Dragon. This is *not* in C. London, being in Richmond (I think) and
is an excellent little shop stuffed full of SF/Fantasy. It also often sells
books which are cheaper than the sort at Murder One or Forbidden Planet.
They will look out for books for you, and get imprts and all such. They also
do mail order at the cost of the postage.
I also can get you the address of a second-hand bookshop where the owner
loves SF and therefore keeps loads. When I have a little more money, I will
certainly want to go to both of these.
Meanwhile, I have books which *should* be in the library if it were not for
it being so *full*, which I picked up over the summer. I did not know *what*
to do with the books Phil gave us- and two boxes got accidentally put in
with gamesoc's stuff which we were shifting at the same time. Perhaps we can
get access at the weekend some time, when it is quieter and look through
them all properly.
Any ideas as to when/where/how we are going to get more storage space for
books, Asan? I know this is a tricky one, with the Union and all, but now we
know that the Union are working on storage for Gamesoc and other socs, we
should be putting our bid in. Perhaps we can remove some of the more bizzare
books, or something and keep them in the other cupboard?
Can you give us some more details? Is there a web page about this, or
something? In fact, what *exactly* is it all about? Is it figures, or games,
or books, or films, or costumes?
Who also is thinking of going? If there is a good crowd thinking of going, I
may well attend.
Thanks
