Is Janeway leaving the show when her contact expires in the year 2000?
How will they get rid of her?
Who will take her place as Captain?
Could someone, for gods sake, promote Kim to lieutenant? He's survived
countless ship takeovers, rescued quiet a few people and been involved in
more than one battle, but he's been an ensign for five years for crying out
loud!!!

I've noticed that Voyager suffers from the old original series loophole of
staffing and resources. The problem of the infinite shuttle craft supply has
been answered in Season 5's opening episodes, since apparantly they build
their own, with a new nifty one called the Delta flyer, constructed by Tom
Paris.
But, what about the crew? Every episode they tend to lose a few people, and
especially in The killing game, they lost quite a sizable number to the
Hirogen hunt.
Now, pardon me, but no human beings can manage to shag wildly and produce
sprogs that quickly to replenish the ranks, no matter how much viagra you
throw at them :)
Kirk, Picard et al had an easy way out of this since all they had to do was
to stop off at the local starbase and pick up more phaser fodder, erm sorry,
ensigns. But Voyager? they must be down to a skeleton crew right now!!
Any ideas of where they get more people from? (apart from the aforementioned
viagra solution)
