For those of you who missed Newsround today, don't worry, the only thing of
the Prequel trailer shown was the poster. If anyone is really that
interested, I taped it and can bring it along tomorrow, but there really was
nothing in it.

*OH MY GOD*
That is bloody amazing!!!
Anyone got a camcorder so I can whack this onto a tape, and show it at an
IFIS film evening?
cheers

Cheers, starwars.com died before I reached it, and theforce.net died while I
was there. I've not had that much luck with it.

Well if people like I could show it between two films on Saturday. Chris White
has sensibly suggested a food break in the middle and as the trailer is only 2
minutes I could fit it in then. As I'll be bringing a PC down anyway it's would
be perfect.

Star Wars Ep1 Trailer Projected onto 100 inch + screen...
Massive sound system rumbling seats...
(Wets himself)
Not everyone is going to be there for every film, so could you please show
the trailer between every film, just so that everyone gets a chance to see
it?
Once this 20 meg download finished (11 meg to go), I'm going to MPEG the
quicktime file for better quality viewing. Do you want me to squeeze it onto
15 disks for you to show instead of the murky quicktime version?
cheers

Sure. Whatever looks best would be best as a big screen will really show up bad
quality video. Incidentally I've heard that the pirate version has better
quality sound plus authenic crowd cheers etc. Might be worth getting both.

Don't know about the sound quality, but the pirate version flickers like
mad!!!!!!!!
got the pirate mpeg version, just waiting for the official one to finish
killing my modem :)

(Modem Finally finishes downloading extremely large file, after *51*
resumes!!)
OH YES.
The proper hi-res version from lucasarts REALLY kicks the shit out of the
pirate one.
Oh well, seems like My PC is going to roast tonight whilst mpegging this
file :)

Well I spent this evening scoping out MLT with Dominic and it's looking good.
The screen looks ideal and I estimate we'll get about an 11 foot picture. I
don't have the trailer yet but I hop e to have it tomorrow. Alternatively if you
want to bring the MPEG version along on disks that's be great.

It's going to be shown on a bloody large projection screen on Saturday,
courtesy of richard and his amazing sound system.
Hows that as an incentive to go along to the films on saturday? :)
