New Batman Film

Heya all,
Hope you've all read the new edition of the newsletter by now. If you
haven't got one, please speak to me and I'll get one to you asap.

Regarding Batman : Triumphant/Dark Knight/whatever they're calling it now.

Rumours persist that Tim Burton has taken the directing helm away from Joel
Schumacher (YAY!!!!) and that Robin won't be in this film. The slightly more
absurd rumours suggest that Batgirl will get killed off (YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!).

What I *REALLY* want to believe is that they've got rid of George Clooney...
Now *THAT* would be a damn good idea :)

What other bad guys would people like to see? I think they're scraping the
barrel a bit now with Howard Stern as the scarecrow...

Which is scraping the barrel, using Howard Stern or the Scarecrow?

Scarecrow is a fairly big adversary of Batman in the comics (in the
cartoon he shows up a fair amount too). He's one of the two
badguy's in the Batman vs Judge Dredd crossover. He even
intimidates Judge Death into doing his bidding.

As to other adversaries, the Mad Hatter seems a likely candidate
(as he was used in the old 60's movies) or, my personal favourite the
Ventriloquist. The ventriloquist as you might expect, gives his
dolls personalities and a voice. The problem is, that all of his
dolls are fairly evil and lead a life of crime. They are also
jealous of other puppets. He eventually ends up dead, when
one of his puppets kills him for betraying him.
