It occurred to me a couple of days ago that a large number of people haven't
seen the film responsible in many ways for the SF blockbuster as we know it:
2001: A Space Oddessy

If at all possible, we could do a double bill with the sequel 2010. This was
another very good film which hardly anyone has seen. Ok, it's not in the
same league as 2001, and suffers from having a cast you have actually heard
of (ie. Roy Scheider, John Lithgow, and Helen Mirren) but it is still a good
film.

Bloody good idea. I'll whack it onto the list for next year, when we should
be able to do more double bills if I can book weekenders for us. :)
